Class Descriptions

This class is designed to enhance fine & gross motor skills, creativity and social development. Students learn proper vocabulary, beginner barre work, hand positions & musicality.

Technique, alignment, strength, balance, vocabulary & artistry are stressed. Classes include stretch, barre, center & across the floor exercises. Poise, line & beauty are developed in the art of classical ballet. Pointe is added after proper strength & skill are developed.

Teaches the latest popular dance steps. Fun & entertaining while obtaining a great workout! Class starts with Jazz warm ups & stretching, then the class works on Hip-Hop techniques & style. In Jazz Technique, technique & strength will be emphasized. Various Jazz styles will be explored as the dancer's abilities increase.

This form of dance incorporates ballet & jazz movements. Lyrical class offers movement & expression. Requires basic ballet training.

A form of dance that originated from Ballet. The dancers will study forms of Graham, Taylor, Horton & Humphrey. Modern dance is a form of contractions, defying gravity & releasing energy using breathing & impulse control.

Rhythm, coordination & musicality are developed & enhanced through this program. Students are trained in classical tap & later introduced to wide variety of tap styles & variations.

Zumba is a fun aerobic workout that mixes in dance moves! This is a seasonal class, so please contact us directly to learn more!

This is a specialty class available in 10 week sessions that combines dance with tumbling. Students will start with basic skills, drills & stretches to increase flexibility, strength & stamina. This is NOT a gymnastics class but incorporates some of the same skill set. Acro skills are an asset to any other class they make take! All stunts & tricks are always fully spotted by a trained professional on a safe mat.
